Surrounded by the San Bernardino Mountains and National Forest, you’ll feel like you’ve stepped into another world.</p> <p>Start by solving personally curated clues and riddles that’ll take you on a journey to collect your special gourmet picnic food bit by bit. But you can safely expect gourmet foods from local artisan producers, including your traditional picnic foods (such as cheese, meats, fruits and crackers etc.). And naturally, as artisan producers will be unique to the different destinations, the final picnic content varies slightly between them.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Can you accommodate for dietary requirements?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>Absolutely! We can cater for most dietary needs for no additional charge, including gluten free, vegan, and vegetarian diets. Customers can also outline any allergies we should be aware of at the time of booking. We also do our best to cater for pregnancy when requested, we recommend pescetarians book as vegetarians.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Do I need to pay for food on the day?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>All food, wine and tastings will be covered in the cost of your experience, including picnic supplied for your perfect picnic spot.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">When will I get my clues?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>You’ll get your clues via email a day or two before your picnic, after which you'll have all your clues, games and puzzles ready to go! Please note, you'll need a mobile phone with internet access the day of your experience.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">What is the difference between a picnic date and a picnic with friends?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>Our Mystery Picnic Dates are designed to be a unique couples day out. While the experiences are similar, for groups of two or more teens or adults, we recommend booking a Mystery Picnic with Friends.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">What will the day look like?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>You can decide your specific start time and the pace for the day! We recommend getting started around 11am to give yourself enough time without feeling like you have to rush through the day. Please note some routes may have a slightly different recommendation specific to that route and the vendor opening hours. All you need to do is follow your clues which will lead the way!</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">How long does the experience go for?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>We’ve designed it to be roughly a 3-4 hour round trip, including enjoying your picnic. But you can definitely take longer than this if you want to go on a few detours to explore the region a bit more!</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">What is your rescheduling and cancellation policy?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>As we pre-plan and book you in for your stops along the way, we need 3 business days notice if you wish to reschedule or cancel your experience.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">What is your wet weather policy?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>Some of our destinations can cater for an indoor picnic spot, just ask one of our friendly concierges. But if you'd prefer to reschedule your picnic due to rain we'll need 3 business days notice, so we encourage you to keep an eye on the forecast in rainier seasons.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Is parking included?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>Please note any parking costs are not included in the price of the experience.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Is Transport Included?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>Transport throughout the experience is not included, so be sure to check whether your experience is designed for walking or driving.</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Do I need to know the area well to solve the clues?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>No local knowledge is required to solve the clues on the day. Whether you know the region well, or it's your first visit, the experience is designed to guide you discover new things during your visit!</p> </div> <button type="button" class="gc-faq">Where do I eat my picnic?</button> <div class="panel"> <p>We will always have a picnic spot planned for you; be that a picnic area, a park or even a winery. Please note that picnic set up is not included so you are welcome to find a spot and settle in to eat.
